Frontend Engineer

Pedro Silva

Interfaces that move the business — not just the pixels.

4+ years shipping React products end-to-end. Sole frontend on a B2B health platform serving 1,000+ companies.

About

I build React interfaces focused on real business impact — not just shipping components. As the sole frontend engineer on a B2B health platform, I've owned frontend decisions and delivery end-to-end: a full checkout rebuild that eliminated daily support interventions across the client base, and a financial statement module designed for lean bundle size and clear user value.

Beyond my main role, I've independently delivered 10+ web projects and built TimeCode Sites — a Website-as-a-Service product with AI content generation, Stripe subscriptions, and custom domain provisioning — from idea to production, solo.

Open to global relocation and remote opportunities.

    Senior Frontend Software Engineer

    Coffee Code

    • Rebuilt the entire logged-in checkout flow in React to support dynamic dependent addition, replacing a manual broker-dependent process — with real-time cost recalculation via Context API, a custom multi-step form, and tailored order finalization. Eliminated daily support interventions across 1,000+ client companies.
    • Built the financial statement module from scratch in React, reusing existing components to keep the bundle lean. Gave account holders direct visibility into financial history previously handled only through brokers — a key resource during annual income tax filing season.
    • Sole frontend on a B2B health platform serving 1,000+ companies and 25,000+ users — owning frontend decisions and delivery end-to-end, including admin data views for operations teams (company records, payments, statements, order queues).

    Founder & Frontend Developer

    TimeCode

    • Delivered 10+ client websites end-to-end in an agency-style model: Figma handoff → responsive production code → deploy, managing scope, revisions, and direct client communication.
    • Built and operate a multi-tenant Website-as-a-Service platform (React + Node.js) with automated provisioning, serving multiple concurrent client sites from a single codebase.

    Frontend Software Engineer

    Grupo KPG

    • Developed landing pages for Pedalgel from Figma into pixel-perfect responsive pages in Next.js, SCSS and CSS Modules, with an integrated external checkout. The product sold 60,000+ units and was exported to 10+ countries, including the US, Canada, Japan, and the UK.
    • Built additional web projects for the group's portfolio — including a digital entrepreneurship platform and a couples mentorship site — delivering across varied niches under tight timelines.

TimeCode Sites

Website-as-a-Service — professional sites by subscription.

Screenshot of the TimeCode Sites landing page

Problem

Small businesses need a professional site fast, without hiring an agency or learning a CMS.

Aha

The visitor fills a form and — in minutes, without a card — sees a ready site with AI-generated content and photos. Publishing is when they pay via Stripe.

  • Trial-first funnel: create → aha moment → publish/checkout, with abandoned-cart and publish-nudge recovery.
  • Custom domains with DNS verification and automatic SSL on a VPS.
  • Full stack ownership: React 19 SPA, Express API, SQLite, Stripe, Gemini, Pexels, Docker on Oracle Cloud.

Gutenberg Block System — B2B Health Platform

Custom blocks turning the WordPress editor into a document and data-view builder.

Problem

Legal and operations teams needed to assemble health insurance contracts and build admin data views without a developer in the loop — and the contracts had to come out as PDFs.

Aha

The WordPress editor became the composition surface. Teams stack custom blocks — beneficiary data, dependents, billing, coverage terms, LGPD, page breaks — and the same content renders either as a hydrated React view in the browser or as a finished PDF contract.

  • Built and maintained the custom block library for the B2B admin theme: the registration layer (JS + PHP) and 6 blocks end-to-end — company records, payment listings, coparticipation statements, order resend queues.
  • Dynamic block pattern: save() emits a mount point that React hydrates on the frontend via data-component, keeping post content clean and rendering logic in the app layer.
  • Dual registration (JS for the editor, PHP register_block_type) under a dedicated block category, keeping ~37 domain blocks organised in the inserter.
  • Contributed to a ~20-block contract document system rendered to PDF — authored the page-break and single-invoice blocks, led development on three membership-form blocks.
  • Scale: platform serving 1,000+ client companies and 25,000+ users.
